WW2 US Navy USN Ensign Officer’s Visor Hat Cap.
Approximately a men's  7 1/2. Measures about 23.5" on the inside circumference.
The sailor was an ensign when he served. As this came from his estate, I believe the hat is an ensign's hat. Let me know if that assumption is incorrect.
This is a genuine WW2 hat. It sailed aboard the USS Halford during WWII. I do know who the sailor is who wore the cap. The hat is in as-found condition.  The white of the hat is yellowed and stained as pictured. The band is coming loose inside the hat. I made no attempt to clean or repair the cap and will leave that up to the eventual buyer.
The insignia is two parts. One part is sterling and the other is sterling and 1/20 10k gold.
