Description

US Airforce Service cap from the Vietnam era. It is marked Flight Ace and made by Ace Maufacturing Co., Inc. San Antonio, Texas with the USAF Certification of NPR-7-1-75. The leather head band is marked in gold lettering, Flight Ace, with logo, Trademark & Registered. It is tagged size 6 7/8 inside of the band. It has 4 clouds and 8 lightning bolts embroidered in silver bullion thread on the visor as pictured. The large and impressive metal hat pin \ It measures almost 2.50" tall and 2.25" wide. The hat has a silver Air Force button on each side and 2 air vent holes above each button. The blue fabric feels like wool serge but it is unmarked as far a fiber content is concerned. The hat and \pin are in excellent vintage condition.
