Original M53 Marine Corps USMC HBT Billed Utility Fatigue Hat EGA Stencil MINT!

Available is an original MINT condition United States Marine Corps Herringbone Twill (HBT) fatigue or utility billed hat or cap.
The piece is absolutely unissued and unworn. It comes with all of its original components including the sweatband and four side grommets. The front of the hat is beautifully stenciled with the new style EGA device.  While I don't see any tags underneath the sweatband, there are at least three cut or cutter tags attached to the hat.  They read, "35/353Y C40/SI SMALL" on three lines. In addition, the sweatband is stamped "S" in black ink.  I wear a size 7 ¼ and it is just slightly tight on me. I’m guessing it is probably a size 7.
As I mentioned above, the hat is in great shape! It is as mint as you will ever see. The item belonged to the estate of Marine who served from WWII through the mid-1960’s and was recently removed from a large trunk in his basement. The hat displays beautifully.
