The markings for seam allowances with 3 mm (1/8 inch), 6 mm (1/4 inch) and 7.5 mm on the sole of the foot are used for precise orientation. Its contact surface is perfect for machines with a 9 mm stitch width and enables the sewing material and stitch to be carefully guided when joining pieces of fabric.
