Kasey Kahne 2006 Dodge Racing Team SEATTLE SEAHAWKS Race-Ready Full Size NASCAR Bell Helmet with HANS Device Clips & COA
This is perhaps the rarest Kasey Kahne helmet out there! This full-size Bell helmet is race-ready and features an amazing paint job done by Kasey's helmet designer at the time, Gary Hess. This was meant to be Kasey's full-time helmet during the 2006 NASCAR season but he was unfortunately unable to use it. We obtained this helmet directly from the helmet painter himself, Gary Hess. According to him, Kasey requested to have the Seattle Seahawks logo painted on the top of the helmet and Gary painted everything according to his specifications. Once the helmet was returned back to Evernham Motorsports they noticed one of the blues was slightly off. They decided to call the Seahawks organization to find out the exact color blue but were unfortunately told they would not be able to use the logo because they did not have prior permission. I am sure Kasey was disappointed when he was informed of this and he told Gary to just paint over it in black, which was indeed the helmet design he ended up using that year. Since Gary knew we were huge Kasey Kahne fans he offered us the opportunity to purchase it instead. It has been in our personal collection ever since but is now being offered for sale to one lucky collector. The helmet is completely race ready and even includes the HANS device clips but it was never race-used. This is an extremely unique collectible that you simply will not find anywhere else. It would make a great conversation piece for any Kasey Kahne or NASCAR helmet collector! You will receive a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) with your purchase. Kasey has not autographed it yet but I'm sure he would be surprised to see it again if you are able to get it signed in the future. Please let us know if you have any questions.
