    For auction is an Israeli silver state medal, the
    1989 Israel Bank Western Wall Temple Tunnel Silver State Medal
    , which was
    issued by the
    Israel Government Coins and Medals Corporation Ltd. of
    the State of Israel.
    The coin is minted from silver, 0.935 purity.
    This proof-like medal has a diameter of 37 mm and a weight of 26 grams.
    The medal comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from

    Israel Government Coins and Medals Corporation Ltd.
    According to a numismatic website, this medal was issued to commemorate the eternal longing of the Jewish people for Jerusalem and the Western or Wailing Wall, as well as recent archaeological discoveries.
    On one side is a depiction of the Ashlar stones of the Western Wall with their typical moss.
    The medal contains the passage "IF I FORGET THEE O JERUSALEM" and the source, "Psalms 137:5" in Hebrew and English.
    The other side of the medal contains the Temple Mount Tunnels, dug underground along the length of the entire western wall of the Temple Mount, including part of a Hasmonean aqueduct, and the words "Temple Tunnel" in Hebrew and English..
    Along the circumference, are the words "STATE OF ISRAEL' in Hebrew on the right and in English on the left with serial number 1615 and "Silver 935" in Hebrew and English.
