This is an original early war issue Civil Defense Air Raid Warden helmet. It is 100% original and has a fine condition Air Raid Warden decal on the front. Helmet has the original white paint and the liner and chin strap assembly are in excellent condition. During the early war years there was concern of a Japanese invasion on the west coast. This hysteria was conveyed in the movie 1941. The Civil Defense Corps was always on the lookout for aircraft and such. This displays beautifully. Rates excellent overall condition. Don’t miss it.
